Software Overview

This page contains info and links to various pieces of software that I have written.

Current software:

• yuki.scr screen saver for Windows XP.
• //terra - how i think a media player should be designed.
• Glyph - practice your alphabets.
• SAMS.play - meeting the needs of Southampton Anime and Manga Soc.
• Tengwar Scribe - convert roman text to tengwar text as you type.
• Wallpaper Selector 2 - changes your desktop wallpaper at regular intervals. Picks an image at random out of a preset list.

Software that may be hosted when i get round to it:

• InterChat4, the 4th complete remake of a serverless LAN chat program i originally started at conware.org.
• Taskbar, a taskbar for exta screens.

SAMS.play

Multi-function media play for Southampton Anime and Manga Soc (SAMS). More documentation will be added later.

Glyph

Glyph is a small app for testing your self on various character sets - a variation on a theme from the one included in tengwar scribe. Currently contains test files for hiragana+katakana (mixed) and gnommish (Artemis Fowl style). I might do a tengwar version at some point. If there are any other sets you would like me to include please let me know, or feel free to make them yourself. If you do make one, please let me know!

To see the gnommish you will need the font from here.

The most recent version is 1.0.7b (the "b" means it now includes hiragana).

Tengwar Scribe

Tengwar scribe is my own attempt at auto-conversion from roman to tengwar. It is still experimental so please check everything it outputs. If you find any errors please let me know. Comments and suggestions also welcome.
